The Wound Rotor Induction Machine gives a torque that can be adapted to the drive load. It is also possible to adjust the speed to the value needed by means of the rheostat. Speed control is possible by connecting this machine with the three phase rheostat unit. The Wound Rotor Induction Machine 60 Hz works as either a motor or an alternator. The trainer is protected by a either a diode or thermal-magnetic circuit breaker. The rotor consists of three phase windings connected to rings that are mounted on the shaft. Brushes connected to the rings allow the insertion of resistance in the rotor circuit. Protected by a circuit breaker. Specifications and/or diagrams are silk-screened on the back of a clear-plastic front panel for ease of identification. The stator windings of the three phase machine are brought out to 4-mm terminals on the housing for either wye or delta connection. The rotor windings are also accessible from the housing terminals. Included in the Rotating Machines Trainer for 1/3 hp - 250 W. Requires a 120V 60Hz.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs About Wound Rotor Induction Machine

Common questions from buyers, procurement officers & technical evaluators about ordering, customisation, lead time & documentation.

Yes. Laboratory Instrument India is a direct manufacturer and exporter of Wound Rotor Induction Machine. We control quality from component sourcing through assembly, calibration and final QC — not a reseller or trading company. This ensures consistent pricing, faster lead times for bulk orders and full traceability for tender documentation.

There is no fixed MOQ — we accept single-unit institutional orders as well as large tender-volume contracts. Standard lead time for Wound Rotor Induction Machine is typically 2–4 weeks from order confirmation, depending on quantity, customisation requirements and current production schedule. For urgent tender deadlines, please mention the required delivery date in your enquiry and our team will confirm feasibility within 1 business day.

Yes. We routinely customise Wound Rotor Induction Machine for specific tender specifications — including voltage variants (110V / 220V / 240V, 50Hz / 60Hz), regional plug standards, branding / OEM labelling, language settings, calibration ranges, and additional accessories. Share your tender document or technical specification sheet with our team and we will provide a compliance matrix and quotation.

We export to 65+ countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
