The Natural Vibration on a Ship model can be used tomeasure and record the natural frequencies and modes of a model ship. Thesimple, idealised ship shape makes it easier to approach the problemmathematically. The experiment-basedvibration analysis is an essential component in shipbuilding design anddevelopment. The plastic model ship has nine ribs and an elliptical lineplan. The model ship is attached to a rigid cross-member by springs. Theenclosed box cross-section with high rigidity means the natural frequency ofthe cross-member is negligibly high. The Natural Vibration on a Ship model unit helps studentstake their first steps in the field of experimental vibration analysis or modalanalysis of structures. Using this trainer, the dynamic behaviour of a shipstructure is studied, teaching students the fundamentals of experimentalvibration analysis. Inthis manner, the transfer functions for various points of the model ship can begenerated step by step. These can be used to determine the vibration modes forvarious natural frequencies. An electrodynamic vibration exciter causesthe model ship to vibrate. A function generator produces the excitation signal, which can be adjusted in amplitude and frequency. An arbitrarily positionableacceleration sensor measures the models response to the excitation signal.

Features:
Simple shipform simplifies the mathematical approach
Differentexcitation signals possible
Dynamicbehaviour of a ship structure
Optionalexcitation and measuring points.

Frame withheight-adjustable cross-member for attaching the model
High naturalfrequency of the cross-member owing to enclosed box cross-section with highrigidity and low weight
Vibrationbehaviour of a model ship in air and in water
Ship Model mountedon springs; vibration excitation and acceleration measurement at any point
Capacitiveacceleration sensor with measuring amplifier, freely positionable
Vibrationexciter with power amplifier and function generator: sinusoidal, triangular orrectangular signal.
Plastic modelship with elliptical lines plan and 9 ribs.

FAQs About Natural Vibration On A Ship

Common questions from buyers, procurement officers & technical evaluators about ordering, customisation, lead time & documentation.

Yes. Laboratory Instrument India is a direct manufacturer and exporter of Natural Vibration On A Ship. We control quality from component sourcing through assembly, calibration and final QC — not a reseller or trading company. This ensures consistent pricing, faster lead times for bulk orders and full traceability for tender documentation.

There is no fixed MOQ — we accept single-unit institutional orders as well as large tender-volume contracts. Standard lead time for Natural Vibration On A Ship is typically 2–4 weeks from order confirmation, depending on quantity, customisation requirements and current production schedule. For urgent tender deadlines, please mention the required delivery date in your enquiry and our team will confirm feasibility within 1 business day.

Yes. We routinely customise Natural Vibration On A Ship for specific tender specifications — including voltage variants (110V / 220V / 240V, 50Hz / 60Hz), regional plug standards, branding / OEM labelling, language settings, calibration ranges, and additional accessories. Share your tender document or technical specification sheet with our team and we will provide a compliance matrix and quotation.

We export to 65+ countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Major destinations include Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Senegal, Cameroon, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Myanmar, Vietnam, Indonesia and the Philippines. All shipments include complete export documentation — commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, test certificate, and any destination-specific compliance paperwork.

Each unit ships with a user manual / operator guide, technical specification sheet, test & calibration certificate, warranty card, and (for export orders) full customs paperwork. For tender supply, we also provide manufacturer's authorisation certificate, ISO compliance declaration, country-of-origin certificate, and a compliance matrix mapping our product specifications against the tender document — ready for direct submission to the procuring authority.
