Labor delivery module

The labour delivery module consists of six selected labour stations to represent conditions of the cervix and vagina prior to labour, during labour, and at birth in a primigravida
It provides training in assessing the position of the fetal head in relation to the maternal pelvis and the level of the ischial spine
Stations illustrated are in this model are:
STA -3 cervix fully effaced;
STA 0 foetal head at plane of ischial spine;
STA +2 cervix nearing full dilation;
STA -5 prior to onset of labour;
STA -4 cervix partially effaced;
STA +5 crowning of foetal head
Stations may be placed in the birth canal of the advanced childbirth simulator
