Need to be suitable for incubation of different strain of microbial organisms, on different media plates, and also for conditioning of heat sensitive media and to provide an optimal, homogeneous, temperature uniformity and stability to ensure that protocols (pharmacopeia standards e.g. USP,BP, Ph. Eur) are fully reproducible
